Children and Families

Our Children and Families service brings together individual, family, and play-based approaches to support the youngest members of our community and the families who love them. Work may focus on anxiety, behavior concerns, trauma, grief, transitions, neurodivergence, and more.

Our practitioners draw on evidence-based approaches, including play therapy, filial therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma Art Narrative Therapy, AutPlay-informed work, EMDR for children, and family therapy. Parents and caregivers are included as meaningful partners in the work.

Our goal is to help children feel safer and more resourced in themselves, and to help families find more ease, connection, and joy together. Care is tailored to each child’s developmental stage, temperament, and family context.
