Retreats

Retreats offer an immersive experience of rest, reflection, and growth—often combining experiential exercises with time for personal reflection and community sharing. By design, retreats are several hours to several days long. In the spaciousness of a retreat, you are invited to step outside your daily routine and slow down, explore, create, and be present with your experiences. The safe and spacious container of a retreat often facilitates deeper awareness, insight, and perspective.

Retreats held at the Flourtown office benefit from access to Fort Washington State Park, only steps away. Retreats may also be held outside the center, at other intentionally chosen retreat spaces, or on-site at your organization.

Retreat themes vary and may include wellness retreats for therapists, highly sensitive person support circles, creative writing retreats, mindfulness retreats, a day devoted to connection with nature, transition and celebration retreats (for new graduates, newly divorced, and grief), and more. Each retreat is designed and facilitated by experienced practitioners with care for pacing, safety, and meaningful learning.

Retreats are typically smaller in size to preserve intimacy and depth. Announcements for upcoming retreats are shared through our website, newsletter, and social media.
