Therapeutic Groups

Our practitioners offer several groups for a variety of audiences. Social skills groups offer children a way to connect with other children, practice pro-social behaviors, and manage emotions that arise when interacting or learning new skills. Groups for highly sensitive people focus on helping them to learn to trust themselves. Whenever people come together in community, they recognize themselves in each other and have the opportunity for healing connection.

Laughter Yoga

The basic premise of laughter yoga is that anyone can laugh at any time, for no reason at all. Laugher yoga helps lift our mood, teaches us to be flexible, and gives us a chance to connect, play, and relax. Individual laughter yoga sessions focus on building resilience and managing stress for greater overall wellbeing.

Nature-Assisted Therapy and Leadership

Nature-assisted therapy can help a person deepen their connection with nature while understanding and processing the emotional impact of a declining and damaged environment.

Using metaphors and associations from aspects of nature, the client gains access to a deeper wisdom or understanding of themselves and in the process feels a revitalized connection to place. Ecotherapy has shown to be effective in alleviating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

Recreation Therapy

Recreational Therapy workshops and trainings are creative programs that get everyone engaged. These trainings work with various populations within various settings including women/men, adolescents, teen parents, adoptive adolescents, adjudicated/at risk youth, participants affected by violence & trauma, and participants with recovery challenges.
