  • Elizabeth Venart, MEd, NCC, LPC
    Founder and Director of the Resiliency Center

    Elizabeth Venart is Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Approved EMDR Consultant providing individual, couples, and group counseling, clinical supervision, EMDR Consultation, and training programs on trauma, resilience, and organizational wellness. Her counseling practice focuses on working with Highly Sensitive Persons, including other therapists, healing trauma, and creating a meaningful life.


  • Carolyn Abele, MS, LPC

    Carolyn Abele is a Licensed Professional Counselor in practice over 12 years. She provides individual and family counseling, behavior and parenting support, and clinical supervision. The Executive Director of a therapeutic school for 8 years, she specializes in working with children, tweens, and teens, and supporting parents in navigating school and behavioral challenges.

    A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist who practices Individual and Family Therapy with specialization in Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy with children and adolescents, and Trauma Focused Therapies with adults. Her areas of practice include trauma, grief and loss, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, behavior issues, and ADHD.

    Vanessa is a Licensed Professional Counselor that provides individual and group therapy to youth and young adults. Utilizing mindfulness, expressive arts, and play therapy modalities, she harnesses creativity and imagination in the service of growth and healing.
