Clinical Supervision
For therapists entering the profession, supervision provides the support and skills necessary for independent practice.
Several practitioners offer supervision for new therapists seeking support as they pursue licensure. This includes graduates of master’s programs in counseling, social work, and marriage and family therapy. Clinical supervision focuses on helping new therapists develop clinical skills — including rapport-building, assessment, treatment-planning, ethical complexities, and strengthening working knowledge of specific therapeutic approaches. Group supervision offers additional support and insight.
