Recreational Therapy Workshops and Trainings

Too often the importance of play and leisure are overlooked. Recreational Therapy (RT) uses recreation and other activity-based interventions to promote psychological and physical health and wellbeing. People learn better and feel better when movement, play, creativity, and connection with others is part of a training experience. Recreational Therapy aims to re-energize people by inviting their participation in meaningful leisure activities and opportunities for community engagement. Recreational Therapy works well across all settings — from youth to older adults and from schools and recovery centers to large corporations.
