Career Coaching

When you’re at a crossroads professionally, career coaching offers support and perspective. You may explore areas of meaning, your vision for a different path, and your longing for growth and change. While this can also be a focus in therapy, coaching begins with values exploration but then moves into creating action plans for change.

For therapists, career coaching can include practice-building support. Business and private practice education is  typically absent from academic programs, and practitioners are often uncomfortable with the idea of marketing their businesses. Practice-building coaching helps therapists view marketing as an extension of their work – based in principles of education, service, and relationship. Consultations can also focus on enhancing professional sustainability. By focusing on what is most rewarding in your work and addressing energy drains, you can create a plan that supports your long-term resiliency.

Workshops invite you to explore your career and meaning questions in community. Previous group offerings have included visioning days, a private practice series for therapists, and strategic planning and team-building programs for schools and organizations.
