DBT Skills Group for Overstimulated Moms

Motherhood can feel so complex on our emotions — beautiful and rewarding, and hard, tiring and isolating. You can absolutely relish in the joys of motherhood and still feel overstimulated, burnt out, exhausted and depleted. The mental load that moms carry is a silent and unseen job. It can feel very overwhelming, lonely and invalidating.

This interactive and supportive skills group provides personalized attention to cope with the beauty and overwhelm of motherhood. During the 12-week group, you will have an opportunity to share and will gain concrete tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

The group focuses on supporting you as you support others. You’ll learn:

  • Ways to quiet the constant noise and mental load through mindfulness techniques
  • How to cope with the most chaotic moments through accessible and tangible skills
  • Ways to regulate your emotions when everything around you is loud and messy
  • How to manage your relationships with boundaries to maintain your peace
